
The prelim card at UFC London started strong. But the main event delivered a close and high-level fight between Movsar Evloev and Lerone Murphy. In the featherweight title eliminator bout, Evloev won the close fight via majority decision. Murphy started really well with his counters and footwork.
But the Russian fighter started to turn things in his favor from the third round. He started using his pressure and wrestling more effectively as the fight went on and won. Evloev has won the fight, and now he might face Alexander Volkanovski for the featherweight belt.
In the co-main event, Luke Riley and Michael Aswell Jr. went all out in a competitive three-round fight. Aswell Jr. started well, but Riley started picking up his rhythm and won by unanimous decision, securing his second UFC win. Additionally, fan favorite Michael “Venom” Page dominated three rounds and defeated Sam Patterson by unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28).
Iwo Baraniewski made a brutal statement by finishing Austen Lane in just 28 seconds of Round 1. Baraniewski wasted no time, rushing in with an overhand right followed by a left hook that dropped Lane instantly, and Baraniewski won the fight. Christian Leroy Duncan defeated Roman Dolidze by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).
Danny Silva opened the main card with a banger. He secured an impressive TKO win over Kurtis Campbell at 0:31 of Round 2, spoiling Campbell’s debut. Campbell tried to use his grappling early, but Silva defended. In the second round, a big right hand rocked Campbell, and Silva quickly followed up to get the finish.
The whole fight card was a banger—fans definitely got to see thrilling fights. As Movsar Evloev won the main event fight, he’ll finally get his most-awaited title shot. Even Alexander Volkanovski was waiting for Evloev to win so he could fight him. Now, fans will wait for the official announcement for this fight.
