UFC Sacramento Card Set For Golden 1 Center

Anthony Hernandez and Gregory Rodrigues will meet in the middleweight main event at UFC Sacramento on Aug. 22, as MMA Mania first reported.

The card takes place at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California, with prelims beginning at 5 p.m. ET on Paramount+ and the main card following at 8 p.m. ET. Serghei Spivac faces Vitor Petrino in the heavyweight co-main, while former ONE Championship titleholder Reinier de Ridder takes on Roman Dolidze at light heavyweight.

The main card also features lightweight MarQuel Mederos against Mason Jones and a flyweight bout between Carli Judice and Jeisla Chaves. Anthony Wint and Terrance Chatman round out the Paramount+ portion in a second heavyweight scrap.

Six preliminary fights lead into the main card, including Jamall Emmers versus Lerryan Douglas at featherweight and Shamil Gaziev against Kennedy Nzechukwu at heavyweight. Nasrat Haqparast meets Chris Padilla at lightweight, while Marcio Barbosa and Ryan Kuse square off at featherweight.

Gauge Young faces Stan Dorsainvil in a lightweight matchup, with Jackson McVey and Wes Schultz meeting at middleweight. Shanelle Dyer and Elise Reed open the preliminary slate in a strawweight contest.

The card remains subject to changes in bout order and total number of fights. Hernandez most recently submitted Dolidze at UFC Apex in Las Vegas last August.
