UFC Vegas 118 bonuses: Six fighters earn extra cash

Six fighters split $400,000 in post-fight bonuses at UFC Vegas 118, with the promotion awarding two Performance of the Night honors and one Fight of the Night prize.

Middleweight Brendan Allen and Edmen Shahbazyan collected $100,000 apiece for Fight of the Night after their main-card clash, according to Sherdog. Iwo Baraniewski and Edgar Chairez each earned $100,000 Performance bonuses for their respective showings on the card.

Five More Earn Finish Bonuses

The UFC also distributed $25,000 finish bonuses to five additional fighters who stopped their opponents inside the Apex. Bryce Mitchell, Alessandro Costa, Chelsea Chandler, Joanderson Brito, and Ketlen Souza all received the smaller awards for their victories.

The Allen-Shahbazyan bout marked the second consecutive event in which the promotion awarded six total bonus recipients. UFC Vegas 119 takes place May 31 at the Apex.
