Already well-known among fans for his unique habits and personality, former UFC light heavyweight champion Jiří Procházka has shared some unorthodox training footage ahead of his return at UFC 300.

“BJP” claimed the UFC light heavyweight title from Glover Teixeira in dramatic fashion when he submitted the Brazilian in the waning seconds of their epic war at UFC 275, but unfortunately a severe shoulder injury forced him to vacate the title and pull out of a planned rematch between the two.

The 31-year-old stepped into the Octagon after nearly a year and a half to take on Alex Pereira for the vacant light heavyweight belt in the main event of UFC 295, where Pereira spoiled Procházka's return with a controversial TKO stoppage in the second round.

Eager to get back into title contention, “BJP” is now set to take on Aleksandar Rakić at UFC 300 and recently shared some unique training footage with fans via Instagram.

Rakić will presumably be a far more mobile target than the trees that Procházka practiced on in his video, but “Rocket” may also carry a bit of ring rust into UFC 300 when he makes his own return from a knee injury after nearly two years on the sidelines.

The matchup between the two top-ranked light heavyweights is arguably the most high-profile of the three bouts currently set for UFC 300, and with former champion Jamahal Hill still recovering from his Achilles injury an impressive win for either man could vault them into a title shot against Pereira.

UFC 300 also features former bantamweight king Aljamain Sterling making his featherweight debut against Calvin Kattar and the return of Bo Nickal to take on Cody Brundage, but so far Dana White and the UFC have yet to reveal what fight will headline the highly-anticipated card on April 13.
