Clancy Brown, Luke Cook to serve as Co-Grand Marshals for the GOVX 200

On Thursday, Phoenix Raceway announced that Clancy Brown and Luke Cook, co-stars from the CW Network’s dramedy “Good Cop/Bad Cop,” will serve as co-grand marshals for the GOVX 200 NASCAR Xfinity Series Race on Saturday.

Brown is widely recognized for his acting career in film, particularly for voicing Mr. Krabs in the beloved Nickelodeon series SpongeBob SquarePants, a role he has held for 25 years. He has also appeared in some of the most popular shows on television, including Showtime’s hit series Dexter: New Blood and HBO’s Emmy Award-winning series Carnivàle. Additionally, he has portrayed several characters in the Star Wars franchise.

Cook is an Australian actor best known for his role as Lucifer in the Netflix series “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.” He also appeared in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” and has been featured in indie films, such as “How Do You Know Chris.”

“We’re honored to have Clancy Brown and Luke Cook say the most famous words in motorsports ahead of the GOVX 200,” Phoenix Raceway President Latasha Causey said in a press release. “The wide-ranging talent and prowess possessed by both actors will provide our fans a thrilling start to an exciting race.”

Nascar will kick off its three days of racing on Friday, starting with the General Tire 150.
