Dale Earnhardt Jr. will be a part of a reworked broadcast booth for the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series with Steve Letarte and Adam Alexander set to join him on Amazon Prime and TNT broadcasts of the races next season.
That announcement came several days ago with their first race together set to be the iconic Coca-Cola 600 next May. And while Dale Jr. may be very familiar with Letarte's work, he doesn't have much experience working with Alexander. But on the latest episode of his Dale Jr Download podcast, the NASCAR legend said that he's known Alexander well for a long time and has received tons of positive messages telling him how excited he should be to work with him.
“Everybody knows that I love working with Steve. The one thing I’ll say about Adam is I’ve never really worked with him but I’ve known him for a very long time,” Earnhardt said. “When I started broadcasting, most everybody in the NBC bubble was very supportive. Of course, always giving me great feedback, and that was awesome. Outside of the NBC family, Adam was really one of the few people that constantly was texting me and just saying nice things and just being supportive for no reason other than just because he’s a good guy.
“Before that, I really had no real relationship with the dude, so it just speaks to his character. When we made this announcement, I got a lot of text messages from people in the industry saying how much I’m going to love working with Adam. I’m so thankful to hear all of this.”
The 2024 NASCAR Cup season saw 23XI Racing's Tyler Reddick emerge as the top regular season driver before Joey Logano went on to win the NASCAR Cup playoffs and claim his third championship.
The 2025 season begins with the Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium on February 2.
