In an aggressive Chicago street race on Sunday, there were a number of wrecks that irked drivers. And while all eyes were on Bubba Wallace and Alex Bowman on pit road after the race, it was Joey Logano who confronted Ross Chastain.
The confrontation wasn’t overly aggressive and didn’t get physical, but Logano could be seen yelling at Chastain. The two had an earlier dust-up on the track.
You can check out the two beefing below. Logano appeared to be the aggressor after being spun by Chastain in Turn 2.

The incident occurred after the field got bunched up entering Turn 1 off the Lap 63 restart, with Chastain slamming into the tire barriers. Chastain kept his No. 1 Chevrolet moving, and in Turn 2, he drove directly into Joey Logano, sending him spinning. Logano scolded Chastain on his radio.
“Ross better get the f*cking information right before he goes and wrecks somebody. And there’s f*cking six cars behind me wrecking into me, and then he destroys me from four back. That motherf*cker,” Logano said, via Jordan Bianchi of The Athletic.
Jeff Gluck of The Athletic later revealed that Chastain wasn’t told by his team that Joey Logano was responsible for him going into the tire barriers. And yet, Chastain appeared to take matters into his own hands and send a message to Logano.
Chastain raced his way to a 10th place finish. Logano managed to finish one spot behind Chastain as the two drivers found a way to a pair of quality finishes in downtown Chicago. That being said, Chastain might have some payback coming his way. Joey Logano will surely remember this.
Surprisingly, the confrontation between Logano and Chastain wasn’t the one many fans were looking forward to after the race. That was a dust-up between Bubba Wallace and Alex Bowman.
That pair had gotten into it at Chicago last year, when Bowman won. Wallace doored Bowman during a victory lap cruise, startling the driver and starting a mini feud.
That feud continued into Sunday, when the two were paired in NASCAR In-Season Challenge. Bowman got the better of things after some ridiculously aggressive driving and contact both ways, eventually spinning Wallace out.
But there were no fireworks after the race, as Wallace left pit road immediately. Instead, it was Joey Logano doing a little yelling to provide the fans some post-race entertainment.
