A lot has been said about this tragic situation, and people wonder what happened with the veteran.
On Thursday morning, Busch’s family shared on social media that the driver had been hospitalized with a severe illness and asked for privacy.
“Kyle has experienced a severe illness resulting in hospitalization. He is currently undergoing treatment and will not compete in any of his scheduled activities this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway. We ask for understanding and privacy as our family navigates this situation.”
Whatever it was, it worsened during the day. Busch was still young and with a lot to offer on and off the track. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those close to the driver.
