Live NASCAR odds for Sunday's Shriners Children's 500 (3:47 p.m. ET, FOX) at Phoenix Raceway peg Denny Hamlin as the race favorite.

Hamlin (+475) is followed by Christopher Bell (+525), Ross Chastain (+850), Kyle Larson (+900) and Tyler Reddick (+900) at Caesars Sportsbook.

To be blunt: I will not have a large betting card for today's race at Phoenix.

Even with a "new" short-track race package, drivers are saying that passing will once again be extremely difficult, meaning that even if we're able to get down on the fastest cars at good numbers, they still might not be able to get to the front.

With this in mind, I'm bypassing outright NASCAR odds altogether and am instead picking off one plus-money matchup that seems mispriced.

Bubba Wallace was one of the best drivers in practice on Friday.

Wallace ranked fourth in five-lap average, first in 10-lap average and third in 15-lap average.

On the other hand, Kyle Busch was 29th in five-lap average, 26th in 10-lap average and 14th in 15-lap average.

Additionally, Wallace qualified nine spots ahead of Busch, so I'm having trouble understanding why the 23XI Racing driver is a +106 underdog in this matchup.

In this instance, I'm going to refrain from asking too many questions and grab Wallace to finish ahead of Busch in Sunday's Shriners Children's 500 at Phoenix.

The bet: Bubba Wallace (+106) over Kyle Busch — BetRivers
