Mandatory Credit: Gary A. Vasquez-Imagn Images

The South Point 400 is this weekend in Las Vegas. One driver in the NASCAR Playoffs could win their way to the Championship 4. Everyone is going to have their eyes on Joey Logano, but let’s put our eyes on the great paint schemes on the track this week.

There are so many great cars this weekend. From a paint scheme perspective, this is one of the best races of the year. Lots of different looks, even for drivers who have consistent sponsorship at times.

NASCAR Playoffs mean the pressure is cranking up. Everyone knows what is at stake this weekend on the track. But let’s do the fun part and look at some race cars.

Ross Chastain No. 1 Tootsies Orchid Lounge Chevy

Back in a party town, you know that Trackhouse Racing had to bring the Tootsies Orchid Lounge Chevy back to the track. Ross Chastain is hoping to play spoiler and win the week after his elimination.

Chastain has had a lot of success on the intermediate tracks. Can he find that magic again, this time at Las Vegas? 9.5/10.

Kyle Larson No. 5 Zac Brown Band/HendrickCars Chevy

Kyle Larson has a brand new look this weekend. Zac Brown Band is teaming up with HendrickCars.com this week for this black and gold look.

Larson has been looking a little sportier lately. Can he take this new look into Victory Lane? 8/10.

Ty Dillon No. 10 Sugarlands/Field and Stream Chevy

A little bit of Southern flair on Ty Dillon’s No. 10 Chevy. Sugarlands and Field and Stream are coming together for what is a really great-looking car.

I think that Dillon has overachieved in this car. He has improved a ton over his last stint in the Cup Series. Kaulig Racing is going through a lot of changes, but Dillon keeps bringing in the sponsors. 8/10.

Riley Herbst No. 35 Hungry Jack Toyota

Great, now I’m hungry. Riley Herbst is going to Las Vegas with Hungry Jack. The 35 team could use a good run at Herbst’s home track.

Las Vegas is home to a lot of great drivers. Herbst has had a lot of success there in the Xfinity Series. Anyone else want breakfast for dinner now? 7.5/10.

Zane Smith No. 38 Long John Silver’s Ford

The No. 38 car is included in here because Long John Silver’s has completely changed their thing. Now, LJS is a chicken and fish restaurant. This week, Zane Smith is carrying that new look on his car.

I’m not sure how this new brand change will go for Long John Silver’s, but Smith could use a tasty race at Vegas. Ford has had success at Vegas, can FRM find the magic to give Smith a race to remember? 7.5/10

John Hunter Nemechek No. 42 Pye Barker Toyota

The pink flames on the Pye Barker Fire and Safety car are great. John Hunter Nemechek has flashed speed at a few tracks this year in the NASCAR Playoffs. Even though he’s out of the postseason hunt, Nemechek has found ways to get better.

Nemechek and Pye Barker go way back. This is one of their best-looking cars to date. 8/10.

Tyler Reddick No. 45 Jordan Brand Toyota

A pink flames Jordan Brand Toyota? That’s as good as it gets. Tyler Reddick is no longer in the playoffs, but a win to end the season would be a slight consolation prize.

23XI Racing has a lot going on right now. Any kind of good results or news would be welcomed by this organization. 9/10.

Alex Bowman No. 48 Ally Chevy

A green Ally Chevy? Alex Bowman’s No. 48 car looks a bit different this week. I like it.

Now there is the whole thing about green racecars, but I like them. Can Bowman find a positive note to end the season on?

Ryan Preece No. 60 Sysco/Crumbl Ford

Image via NASCAR.com

Another great partnership for RFK Racing. Ryan Preece is driving the Sysco and Crumbl Ford this weekend at Vegas. The No. 60 team has had so many different looks this season.

This appears to be a similar deal to the Kroger sponsorship. Sysco is the main sponsor with Crumbl acting as the associate/partner in the equation. 8/10.

Shane van Gisbergen No. 88 Jockey New Zealand Chevy

Image via NASCAR.com

The No. 88 car has carried the red, white, and blue Jockey scheme. Now, Shane van Gisbergen gets a New Zealand design. SVG is looking for another top-10 run at an intermediate track.

This is a fun car, and the design is really great when you look at the details. I’m not sure how it will look on the track, though. 7.5/10.
