NASCAR Xfinity Series rookie William Sawalich will lead the Xfinity Series field to the green flag for Saturday's Tennessee Lottery 250 at Nashville Superspeedway.
Sawalich's qualifying lap of 30.860 seconds was enough to give the 18-year-old driver his first pole of 2025 and the second of his young Xfinity Series career.
"I think it'll be a good day," Sawalich told CW Sports following his pole run.

A win from the pole at Nashville would go a long way towards saving Sawalich's season, as the Eden Prairie, Minnesota, native currently sits 24th in the Xfinity Series standings, 131 points out of the 12th and final provisional playoff spot.
Austin Hill will join Sawalich on the front row, with Sam Mayer, Justin Allgaier and Sheldon Creed rounding out the top five. Carson Kvapil, Nick Sanchez, Aric Almirola, Ross Chastain and Connor Zilisch completed the top-10 qualifiers.
Other notable qualifiers include Brandon Jones in 13th, Sammy Smith in 14th, Corey Day in 21st, Taylor Gray in 24th and Jeffrey Earnhardt in 34th. Kyle Sieg, who was fastest in Saturday's practice session, qualified 28th.
The No. 35 of Glen Reen and No. 32 of Katherine Legge were the two drivers who did not qualify for the race, with Legge turning the slowest lap of the session at 31.987 seconds.
The Tennessee Lottery 250 will go green shortly after 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, with coverage on the CW, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. Pre-race coverage will begin at 7 p.m. ET on the CW and PRN.
