The New York Knicks are having their championship parade in downtown Manhattan on Thursday.

The parade, which started in Battery Park, near the water, is ending at City Hall, where everyone from Knicks owner James Dolan to star point guard Karl-Anthony Towns to head coach Mike Brown will be giving speeches.

But it's not just Knicks players, coaches, front office members and fans attending the team's celebratory parade on Thursday. Some big-time A-list celebrities are attending the parade, as well.

Knicks players are having fun, too

Knicks guard Jose Alvarado, who is from New York, couldn't be more happy to be experiencing this.

"Knicks, we won, and that's amazing. But I'm from here, and it's like, it's just home, different," Alvarado said. "I've been a Knicks fan since I was born, right? My parents [have] been Knicks fans. Just seeing this progress, that everything happened, can't really be put in words. It's just special to me. It's real special."

The Knicks topped the Spurs, 4-1, in the 2026 NBA Finals. It's New York's first NBA championship since 1973. The Knicks were led by Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns and OG Anunoby, who all had big-time performances over the course of the postseason push.

New York is going to have a summer celebrating the Knicks and their big championship over the next couple of months.
