Shai and Nikola were the only unanimous selections for the first team. Luka was only one second-team vote away from being another unanimous pick in the first-team selection. Giannis was able to extend the longest active streak of first-team selections by getting his 6th consecutive first-team honor. He became the first player this season to average 30 points while shooting 60% from the field. Tatum is the first Boston Celtics player since Larry Bird to make an All-NBA first team in three consecutive years.

He also recorded the best season for a 39 year old player in NBA history with a 25.7 points, 8.3 assists, and 7.3 rebounds stat line. Haliburton is the first Pacers player to have earned this honor since Victor Oladipo in the 2017-2018 season.
