With the Chicago Bulls' season now concluded, each player's performance will be graded based on their expectations for the season. Zach LaVine , Chris Duarte, and Torrey Craig will not receive a grade, as he did not finish the season with the team.

Patrick Williams

Grade: F

Williams did not live up to his $90 million, five-year contract extension, as he was consistently outplayed by less experienced and lower-paid players.

Dalen Terry / Julian Philips / Talen Horton Tucker/ Jevon Carter

Grade: C-

All four players had the opportunity to solidify consistent roles within the rotation; while they displayed flashes of potential, they couldn’t establish themselves.

Zach Collins / Tre Jones / Kevin Huerter

Grade: C+

Before joining the Bulls, all three players had not been receiving minutes on their previous teams. After a few games of adjustment, they became essential parts of the Bulls’ rotation, performing at levels they had reached before.

Jalen Smith

Grade: C+

Smith was one of the more reliable players on the team, but unfortunately, he fell out of the rotation at the end of the season.

Nikola Vucevic

Grade: B

This was a bounce-back season for Vucevic, as he increased his three-point percentage by 10%. Despite a poor stretch around the trade deadline, Vucevic was the most consistent player on the team.

Lonzo Ball

Grade: A+

Returning from an injury, no one in sports history has ever come back from and immediately impacting the game earned Ball an A+ grade.

Ayo Dosunmu

Grade: N/A

While some may be dissatisfied with Dosunmu's performance this season, it’s difficult to assess his contributions when he’s battled a lingering injury for over a year.

Matas Buzelis

Grade: A

Buzelis quickly exceeded rookie expectations, earning his way into Billy Donovan's good graces. He emerged as one of the most exciting players from the 2024 draft class.

Coby White

Grade: B-

White started the season slowly, which was disappointing after being a candidate for Most Improved Player the previous season. Fortunately, he managed to turn his performance around, although concerns about his consistency remain.

Josh Giddey

Grade: B-

Giddey’s performance varied widely, exhibiting extreme highs and lows that did not represent his usual play. Nevertheless, he addressed many questions about his ability to play alongside other ball-dominant players.
