The Denver Nuggets' season ended in a sad way when they lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 7 of the Western Conference semifinals.

They will now face relative uncertainty. It remains to be seen whether or not the Nuggets saw enough from interim head coach David Adelman to make him the head coach full-time moving forward.

Denver also has decisions regarding its front office, as Calvin Booth was fired the same day as Michael Malone.

3-team mock trade lands Nuggets key Bulls duo

Even with the uncertainty, the Nuggets are likely to look for areas for improvement in the offseason.

Whether it's through free agency or trades, the Nuggets can't afford to run this team back next year and expect vastly different results.

Brett Siegel is a national NBA Insider and reporter for Clutch Points, and he proposed an interesting mock trade that would address the Nuggets' lack of depth.

Denver would send Michael Porter Jr to the San Antonio Spurs and receive Coby White, Kevin Huerter and Harrison Barnes in return as part of a three-team deal with the Chicago Bulls.

This trade would give the Spurs a significant 3-point shooting threat, and with Victor Wembanyama and De'Aaron Fox as the two top options, a lot of open looks.

As for the Nuggets, White would provide them with a great scorer who can create his own shot at times when the offense isn't flowing. Huerter would provide a sharpshooter with Barnes adding athleticism.

If the Nuggets can work out a trade anywhere near this magnitude, they should execute the deal immediately.
