Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon is paying tribute to his late brother in a touching way.
Gordon shared his first social media post this week since the death of his brother Drew. Aaron revealed in the post that he had gotten a new tattoo to pay homage to Drew.
“Big bruh lives thru me,” Aaron wrote in his caption with a heart emoji.
Here is a closer look at the tattoo, which features a yelling gorilla along with the initials “DG.”

Drew Gordon died last week at the age of 33 after a car crash in Portland, Oregon. A 6-foot-9 power forward, he played in college at UCLA before later transferring to New Mexico. Drew eventually had a brief tenure in the NBA with the Philadelphia 76ers and also had a lengthy career playing overseas (in Serbia, Italy, Turkey, France, Lithuania, Russia, Ukraine and Japan).
Drew was five years older than Aaron, 28, with both brothers having starred at Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, California. The two shared a close relationship.
