Anthony Edwards might be having some interesting moments with Chris Finch. But his performance for the Minnesota Timberwolves had been phenomenal to a large extent. Unfortunately, due to a knee injury, his graph seems to have dropped significantly. And such a scenario has led fans to question whether the 24-year-old will be available for Game 2 of the postseason.
Unfortunately, the news coming in does not seem too rosy for the Olympic gold medalist. According to the official injury report, the 6-foot-4 star is listed as questionable. Thus, it is evident that Wolves’ star’s knee injury might still be bothering him at this point.

However, Edwards missing the all-important game seems pretty unlikely. Having already lost the first game 116-105, Minnesota will be desperate to draw level. And their biggest hope for the same is none other than the 24-year-old. Despite not having the best of days, the 4-time NBA All-Star logged in for 38 minutes. Dropping 22 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists, Edwards did not give up the fight.
However, if the Wolves have to negate Denver’s threat, the 2020 first overall pick needs to be back in his element.
Nikola Jokic was concerned about his team’s future ahead of the playoffs. But thanks to his incredible surge, the Denver Nuggets are now 1-0 up in the postseason. Thus, to put together a solid team like the Nuggets, the Timberwolves would need something special. Luckily, they do have a special one in their ranks.
But Edwards’ performance in game 1 looked timid. Struggling with his shooting, the 24-year-old star went 7-for-19 from the field and 2-for-9 from the three-point range. However, his regular-season averages of 28.8 points per game tell a different story. With the chips being down, Minnesota will expect its best bet to find its lost rhythm soon.
