Ayesha Curry Can Barely Contain Emotions After New Development

Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry is expanding his footprint outside of basketball alongside his wife, Ayesha Curry.

The 17th NBA season proved to be one of the most challenging of the 38-year-old's career.

Injuries limited him to just 39 games. Curry averaged 27.2 points, 4.8 assists and 3.5 rebounds in those appearances. The Warriors lost 22 of the 34 games he missed.

Despite the physical setbacks, Curry soldiered on and pushed Golden State to the 10th seed. The Warriors fought hard in the play-in tournament but fell to the Phoenix Suns.

With the season behind him, Curry is now focused on an exciting new venture. His better half cannot contain her excitement.

In March, Ayesha Curry announced on Instagram that she and Stephen Curry are joining as co-producers of "The Lost Boys" on Broadway. The production is a musical adaptation of the 1987 horror-comedy.

Previews began at the Palace Theatre on March 27. The official opening arrived on Sunday. Director Michael Arden helms the show. The Rescues provide the music, and "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" writer David Hornsby wrote the script.

The story centers on a mother and her two sons. The family relocates to a California town and uncovers a hidden world of vampires. Both Stephen and Ayesha Curry are officially credited as co-producers in posters and promotional content.

Ayesha took to Instagram Stories to share rave reviews from the show's first day. She could barely contain her emotions after the exciting development.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!" she captioned the post, along with multiple fire emojis.

The Curry family has made media a growing part of their world in recent years. The Broadway co-producer credit marks the latest addition to one of sports' most dynamic power couple portfolios.
