The Portland Trail Blazers are very happy to have Damian Lillard back on the team. After spending two seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks, Lillard is back home where he belongs.

Lillard wasn't expecting to be back in Portland this year, but now he is. Lillard was waived by the Bucks this summer. He won't play at all this year as he recovers from a torn Achilles.

Just because he isn't playing this year doesn't mean that fans aren't excited to see him. The Blazers have found a unique way to honor him now that he's back.

The Trail Blazers Honor Damian Lillard With a Cool Promotion

In an homage to Damian Lillard wearing #0, the Blazers are offering $0 ticket fees on all single-game tickets.

Portland is hoping to increase attendance now that Lillard is back with the team. Of course, fans won't be able to see him actually take the court until the 2026-27 season.

Still, the Trail Blazers are hoping that they will have a team that will push for a playoff spot this year. Winning games will always be a way to bring fans to the Moda Center.

With the organization's future secure with a new buyer, the Blazers can now start worrying about things like this. They can now focus on all of the things that will help the team make money.

The Trail Blazers Will Celebrate Damian Lillard All Season Long

Even though Lillard won't be able to play this season, the Blazers will make sure to celebrate him all year long. He is one of the most popular players in the history of the franchise.

Lillard will be at all of the home games this season, cheering his teammates on from the bench. He is going to do anything that he can to help the Trail Blazers win games.

Portland is in the best shape it's been in a while to make the playoffs this season. If the young guys make a leap, they have a shot to make the play-in this season.

Last year with the Bucks, Lillard averaged 24.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 7.1 assists per game. He shot 44.8 percent from the field and 37.6 percent from beyond the 3-point arc.
