Eric Pincus of Bleacher Report created a three-team NBA trade idea involving the Milwaukee Bucks, New York Knicks and Memphis Grizzlies on Monday.
In his blockbuster trade idea, Pincus has the Bucks trading Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Knicks,
In return, Milwaukee would get four players and multiple draft picks and swap rights.
New York Knicks get:
Milwaukee Bucks get:
Grizzlies get:
The Knicks made the conference finals this year for the first time since 2000. They not only lost to the Indiana Pacers in six games, but Tom Thibodeau was also fired as head coach.
Meanwhile, the Bucks lost to the Pacers in the first round of the playoffs in five games. Milwaukee has won only one postseason series since winning the 2021 championship against the Phoenix Suns.
In this trade idea, Pincus has the Bucks getting Anunoby from the Knicks and Clarke, Williams Jr. and Jackson II from the Grizzlies for Antetokounmpo.
A two-time MVP, Antetokounmpo hasn't requested a trade from the Bucks yet. Milwaukee will only trade The Greek Freak if he asks out of Milwaukee.
Many people believe Antetokounmpo should request a trade since Damian Lillard could miss all of next season recovering from his left Achilles tendon tear.
Only time will tell if Antetokounmpo requests a trade from the Bucks. The future Hall of Famer has spent his entire career in Milwaukee.
