It has been a slow offseason for the Golden State Warriors as they have not made any additions to their roster outside of the 2025 draft.
Of course, the Warriors were expected to be aggressive this summer to upgrade their roster around their star trio of Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green but with the ongoing saga between them and Kuminga, they have missed out on multiple free agent targets.
Despite this, the Warriors are still expected to be a contender in the Western Conference next season due to their aging core but that will depend on who they add the rest of the offseason.
On Thursday, the NBA officially released the 2025-26 schedule for every team and here are some of the Warriors’ marquee matchups.
Golden State will begin the new season on the road on opening night as they take on the Los Angeles Lakers on October 21 on NBC.
They will then return home for their home opener at the Chase Center on October 23 where they will host the Denver Nuggets on ESPN.
The Warriors begin group play for the Emirates NBA Cup on November 7 on the road against the Nuggets on Amazon Prime before traveling to face the San Antonio Spurs on November 14 on Amazon Prime.
Golden State will cap off the final two games of group play at home against the Portland Trail Blazers on November 21 and against Kevin Durant and the Houston Rockets on November 26 on ESPN.
The Warriors will also once again be featured on Christmas Day where they will host Cooper Flagg, Klay Thompson and the Dallas Mavericks before traveling to face the Charlotte Hornets on New Year’s eve.
Golden State’s final home game of the regular season comes on April 9 against the Lakers on Amazon Prime before they finish the season on the road against the Sacramento Kings on April 10 and the Los Angeles Clippers on April 12.
In total, the Warriors will have 34 nationally televised games next season, which is tied for the most in the NBA, as they try to land a top seed in the West and make a run at another championship.
