Brittany Renner Warns PJ Washington About Son’s Custody In Heated Viral Video

The video showed a scene where the NBA star was supposed to pick up the young boy together with his current wife, Alisa Chanel, but somehow, the young Washington cried and appeared distressed. The situation escalated and prompted Renner to record and give a spicy comment on the side.

“He doesn’t want to go with you,” Renner said in the video. “So actually show up and do something with him ’cause he does this every time.”

The video also showed Renner’s mother chiming in and alleging Washington of not prioritizing his child financially, alleging he has given more to his wife than his son.

Washington and Renner’s relationship began in early 2020, after meeting at a University of Kentucky game and quickly announcing their relationship. Renner, a social media influencer and fitness model, and Washington, an NBA forward who was younger than Renner, quickly posted their relationship on social media, as the couple had many courtside photos of them together that were labeled “serious commitment” almost immediately.

Even though they were both committed to fatherhood, Washington and Renner ended the romantic relationship in July 2021. Renner would later explain that while Washington was a “doing dad” she would not say the “relationship was a space made for me,” after stating she did everything for the partnership, she later mentioned that their lifestyles simply were not a match.

In the video posted to X, Renner stands alongside her mother outside a suburban home as their young son cries and resists being passed off to Washington and his wife.
