Milwaukee Bucks superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo is at the forefront of the basketball world. Many want to know whether he will indeed stay in Milwaukee or take his talents elsewhere.
While many are speculating on what Antetokounmpo will do, he was spotted enjoying some volleyball in Brazil. The Bucks' social media team shared via X.

Many don’t know what Antetokounmpo will decide in the coming weeks or months, but it appears to be a good sign that the Bucks are sharing this post that Antetokounmpo posted on his personal Instagram account.
The 30-year-old superstar has yet to make a decision on whether or not he will remain in Milwaukee. In mid-May, ESPN’s Shams Charania shared how Antetokounmpo is ‘open-minded’ to a trade this summer.
Whether that will happen or not is still unclear. The two-time NBA MVP is coming off a season in which he earned a spot as a finalist for MVP. In the season, the Greek Freak was spectacular, averaging 30.4 points per game, 11.9 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 1.2 blocks.
In the meantime, many teams have been linked to Antetokounmpo. Teams like the Toronto Raptors, Houston Rockets, Golden State Warriors, the San Antonio Spurs and the Brooklyn Nets, to name a few, are teams that could make a strong push for Antetokounmpo.
While that is the case, there is a possibility that the Bucks could retain Antetokounmpo. Now, whether that is the right decision for their future is another topic of conversation.
The Bucks could get the whole kitchen sink and then some in a potential move of Antetokounmpo. The array of assets and first-round picks the Bucks could acquire could set them up for at least the next decade. Nonetheless, if Antetokounmpo wants to remain in Milwaukee, the Bucks would welcome him back with open arms.
Antetokounmpo is locked in for the next three seasons, with a player option lined up for 2027-28. The two-time MVP will be in position to sign a four-year, $293.4 million extension come the 2026 offseason — whether that’s with Milwaukee or potentially elsewhere.
