Turns out, it’s not.
Myles Turner recently confirmed that the long-circulating Doc Rivers “Google Me” story is, in fact, legit — adding fuel to one of the more entertaining tales that’s floated around the league.

The story, as it’s been told, centers on Rivers reminding players of his résumé in a very direct way. You know the line. Simple. Memorable. Very Doc.
Now? A current player is backing it up.
And naturally, NBA fans ate it up.
Some called it classic Rivers. Others just appreciated that one of the league’s funniest behind-the-scenes stories finally has a stamp of approval.
Either way, it’s another reminder that some of the best NBA moments don’t come during games.
