Clippers' Kawhi Leonard reportedly won't travel to Phoenix, will continue rehabbing at home

It appears the Los Angeles Clippers will be without Kawhi Leonard for at least the first two games of the Western Conference finals against the Phoenix Suns.

According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, Leonard won't travel with the Clippers to Phoenix to continue rehabbing at home:

The 29-year-old hasn't played since Game 4 of L.A.'s series against the Utah Jazz after suffering a knee injury on a drive while being fouled. According to The Athletic's Shams Charania, the Clippers believe Leonard suffered an ACL injury.

Losing Leonard is a huge blow to L.A.'s title dreams. However, they managed to reach the Western Conference finals without him, which means they're capable of getting it done while he's on the sidelines.

Facing the Suns is no easy task, but Phoenix could be without one of its top players in Chris Paul, who has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19 and is in the NBA's health and safety protocols.

Game 1 between the Clippers and Suns is scheduled for Sunday afternoon.
