As the NBA playoffs roll on, we will soon be down to just two teams battling it out to be named champion this year. But for the rest of the teams, it’s officially the offseason.
The Chicago Bulls enter this offseason with a new regime. A much-needed change happened as the franchise had struggled the past few seasons, either failing to make the playoffs overall or just reaching the play-in round. After years of failure, the hope is that they can finally get this turned around.
That’s now on the shoulders of Bryson Graham.
The new executive Vice President of the Bulls is moving forward with the head coaching search. After a rumored list of candidates, the Bulls are now going into interviews and the candidates list has been reported.
Since the Bulls have begun this coach search, a few names have been rumored. Now, Brett Siegel of Clutch Sports is reporting the candidates that Chicago is interested in. The list is as follows:
In addition to the names, Siegel also stated that the interviews for the head coaching role are ongoing:
“Chris Quinn (Miami Heat), Micah Nori (Minnesota Timberwolves), Sean Sweeney (San Antonio Spurs), Dave Bliss (Oklahoma City Thunder), and Tiago Splitter (Portland Trail Blazers) are all names ClutchPoints has confirmed as candidates for the Bulls’ opening,” reported Siegel, who also noted that “Interviews for the head coaching role in Chicago are ongoing.”
With the 2026 NBA Draft just under a month away, a hire will move fast. The Bulls are going to need someone in charge going into that draft process and the free agency period.
As the interviews continue to go on, we move closer and closer to the team finding the next head coach.
