Dallas Mavericks’ Luka Doncic Tops List of Highly Rated NBA 2K25 Players
Peter Casey-USA TODAY Sports

There’s little to no doubt that the Dallas Mavericks have one of the best players in the NBA in Luka Doncic. The phenomenal point guard from Slovenia has been dazzling fans with his breathtaking passes and shots for the past six seasons, and it doesn’t seem like he’s slowing down his production any time soon.

Of course, not everyone is thrilled with how Luka Magic approaches the game. Some are especially tough on him when it comes to his laziness on defense, but his incredible basketball sense and superb clutch gene more than make up for it.

A popular video game series seems to agree with the sentiment surrounding Doncic as they rated him as one of the best players in their upcoming game.

NBA 2K25 will have Dallas Mavericks’ Luka Doncic as a top-rated player at 97

NBA Central released the list of the top 100 players in terms of rating for NBA 2K25, and Luka joins an exclusive company of athletes:

The fact that the only other players joining Doncic at the 97 Club are outstanding superstars Nikola Jokic and Giannis Antetokounmpo is a testament to how well Doncic performed last season.

The Slovenian wonder has done a fantastic shift as he led the Dallas Mavericks to the NBA Finals this past season. He finished the 2023-24 regular season averaging 33.9 PPG, 9.2 RPG, and 9.8 APG. He achieved all this while shooting 48.7% on the floor and 38.2% from behind the three-point line.

Of course, it’s hard to determine if the Mavericks did enough to help Luka return to the Finals. Every team in the Western Conference made changes to their rosters over the season, and the addition of Klay Thompson to the fold may not be enough.

However, the Mavs will always have a shot at winning the Larry O’Brien trophy as long as Luka Doncic is wearing the Dallas blue.
