Damian Lillard's condition has been improving steadily with light workouts over this past week. He was present Sunday night at the bleachers for the game against Detroit Pistons.
The Milwaukee Bucks registered their eighth straight win, ending the regular season with a 48-34 record. In the playoffs, they will play the Indiana Pacers, who beat them 4-2 last time in the first round.
As things stand, Lillard is expected to return in time for the playoffs. Shams Charamia, the ESPN Insider, has claimed that the 6-foot-2 point guard will be cleared before the first round.
“There is optimism that Damian Lillard will be cleared at some point before the playoffs,” Charamia said.

Bucks head coach Doc Rivers echoed a similar statement regarding Lillard.
"Everything is still progressing positively. His last test was fantastic, so that's about all I have, but fingers crossed." Rivers said. "He can shoot and then light running."

Last time against the Pacers, both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Lillard were injured, which is not the case anymore. Antetokounmpo has displayed great form these past few games, posting four triple-doubles in his last five games.
Things look better for Milwaukee this time around. In the four times they faced Indiana during regular season, they won three times.
