Danhausen is standing by the New York Knicks.

The WWE star made an appearance on NBA Today on Tuesday, May 19, ahead of Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The Knicks face the Cleveland Cavaliers at home in Madison Square Garden, and Danhausen shared that he had to a special message for their opponents.

“I do have a special mission I’ve been sent on and that is for the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight,” Danhausen said during a Tuesday appearance on NBA Today. “Let them know that they are cursed.”

Fans reacted to Danhausen’s curse with following his previous curse on the New York team during an episode of ESPN’s First Take over WrestleMania weekend.

“Knicks haven’t lost since Danhausen lifted the curse on the Knicks btw,” a fan reacted on X.

“Oh no. A curse. On a Cleveland team. Whatever will we do,” another fan wrote sarcastically.

“If the Knicks win a Championship, they need to give Danhausen a ring,” one fan wrote.

In addition to Danhausen’s curse on Cleveland, he made time to stop by MSG and posed with a custom Knicks jersey.

While the Knicks have the WWE superstar on their side following their sweep of the Philadelphia 76ers in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, they still have to fend off the Cavaliers. Cleveland just got off a seven-game series against the Detroit Pistons and earned their spot in the Eastern Conference Finals after beating them 94-125.

The Knicks have a lot of eyes on their journey to the NBA Finals, as the team has not made it since 1999. In order to make that feat, they will have to beat the Cavaliers.

Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals began at 8 p.m. ET.
