Anthony Davis pranks are getting out of hand. The Washington Wizards’ star center recently went cross-sports mode and brought up WWE superstar Sting for his new episode of the prank show.

Together, the duo managed to completely catch Darby Allin off guard in one of the more bizarre ways possible.

The prank took place on Bleacher Report’s Foul Play with Anthony Davis, where Davis and Sting teamed up to put the reigning All Elite Wrestling World Champion through a fake police setup involving a mysterious bag supposedly filled with $100,000.

The segment worked because of the real relationship between the two wrestling superstars. The two were not random names paired together for television. They spent years together in AEW, became tag team champions, and shared Sting’s emotional retirement run before his final match at AEW Revolution 2024.

Funny enough, that history made the betrayal funnier. The prank started with Sting and Allin walking through a parking lot before discovering a suspicious bag full of cash. Darby immediately wanted nothing to do with it, but Sting leaned fully into the chaos.

Moments later, fake police officers arrived and started questioning both wrestlers.

However, things escalated quickly when Sting refused to cooperate, argued with the officers, and eventually struck one of them with the bag before running away, leaving Allin to deal with the situation himself.

As more “officers” arrived and witnesses started claiming they saw the pair with the money, Allin looked genuinely rattled while trying to explain what was happening. Davis’ setup perfectly played into his naturally frantic energy, making the reactions feel authentic rather than staged.

Eventually, Davis and Sting revealed the prank while watching it unfold nearby.

Anthony Davis Topping Charts With His Unscripted Prank Show

While amidst an otherwise chaotic stretch in his NBA career, Anthony Davis is finding success away from the basketball court.

His hidden-camera prank series has quickly become one of the biggest breakout cable shows of 2026, following a massive debut across TBS, TNT, and truTV after the NCAA Championship Game.

According to the network, the premiere reached a combined 2 million viewers and posted a 0.86 L3 rating among Adults 25-54 on TBS alone just last month. The debut reportedly delivered a staggering 326% increase over the network’s previous six-week average in the same demographic.

Additionally, the momentum has carried well beyond television. The prank series has already generated more than 22 million social media impressions and 48 million video views across digital platforms, helping the show become the current No. 1 new original cable series of 2026.

What makes the series stand out is how unscripted and chaotic the setups feel. Davis, alongside the creative team behind Impractical Jokers, leans fully into elaborate celebrity pranks that place athletes in increasingly uncomfortable situations.
