DeMarcus Cousins might be playing for the Mongolian side Selenge Bodons at the moment. But his mind seems to be still with the NBA. Despite stepping away from the American League, Cousins has been dishing out opinions about the game. And now, his decision to blind rank his former teammates has created quite a stir.

The 35-year-old has had quite an illustrious NBA career. Having played for a number of big teams, the Alabama-born star brushed shoulders with the likes of LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and others. Speaking on the ‘Run It Back’ podcast recently, Cousins was put on the spot and had to rank James, Curry, Paul George, Anthony Davis, and Kevin Durant.

“DeMarcus Cousins blindly ranks his former teammates:

1. LeBron James

2. Stephen Curry

3. Kevin Durant

4. Anthony Davis

5. Paul George

Do you agree with his list?” read the update from ‘ClutchPoints’ on X.

Surely, this is quite an interesting list. Despite having a very short stint with the Los Angeles Lakers, the 4-time NBA All-Star listed James at number 1. On the contrary, his placing of Durant at number 3 and George right at the bottom might not make the two stalwarts very happy.

Well, looking at his past records, ‘happy’ isn’t something that the 35-year-old aims for when he speaks about fellow stars. For example, the 2010 fifth overall pick recently had a lot to say about Luka Doncic.

DeMarcus Cousins Drops Interesting Take About Luka Doncic’s Tech Situation

Doncic got a one-game suspension following his 16th tech of the season. However, just before the incident, one of his fouls, which should have been the 16th, got rescinded. Following a review, it was deemed that the Lakers’ star’s exchange with Goga Bitadze did not qualify as a tech. But once the decision was announced, several critics were unhappy. And Cousins was one of them.

“My issue isn’t with Luka… If this is Draymond Green, it’s not getting rescinded,” Cousins said.

Thus, with things looking a bit complicated, fans will wait to see what comes next.
