The Orlando Magic are hitting their stride. They defeated the Chicago Bulls 125-120 to improve to 13-8 overall and 8-3 at home at the Kia Center. The Magic have won their last 12 out of 16 games. The notable aspect about a huge chunk of this stretch is that Paolo Banchero has been out due to suffering a groin strain. Once Banchero returns, the Magic expect to turn things up a few more notches. For now, the team they have out there is holding things down in Banchero’s absence.
Desmond Bane led the way for the Magic in their 125-120 win. Bane scored 37 points on 12-for-17 shooting. He knocked down 3-for-7 from the three-point line. He knocked down 10-for-10 from the free throw line. Bane also grabbed six rebounds and dished out five assists. He was the main catalyst for the Magic in the fourth quarter, scoring 18 of his 37 points in the fourth.
