Detroit Pistons rookie Ron Holland had words for the New York Knicks after last night’s 115-106 victory at the Little Caesars Arena.

The 19-year-old swingman warned the New York Knicks shouldn’t underestimate the Detroit Pistons. These two teams will likely meet in the first round of the playoffs for the three versus six matchup.

“We bring that Detroit Bad Boys to every single game we play. And if New York is the team we end up playing, we gonna bring it every single night,” Holland said via New York Basketball on X (formerly known as Twitter).

“He’s earned it, that’s what it says. We fell back on believing in Ron because that’s what we do. Ron fell back to the time and hours he’s put in, and that’s allowed him to be successful,” Bickerstaff said about Holland via Omari Sankofa II of Detroit Free Press.

“I do a good job of asking what the team needs from me, and staying prepared when my name is called. I just stay prepared. (Jarrett Jack) helps me a lot. He watches film with me, he talks me through actions,” Holland said.
