Devin Booker’s McDonald’s collab evolves into surprise merch along with Book 2 launch

SEDONA — Devin Booker’s “Book 2” collaboration with McDonald’s is expanding beyond sneakers to include lifestyle merchandise, such as T-shirts and hats, blending sportswear and pop culture.

The new rollout builds around the Phoenix Suns All-Star signature shoe, with a pop-up on Friday giving fans a chance to get their hands on the shoe before it hits shelves around the world. Working with Nike, the new apparel includes the Nike swoosh combined with the fast-food giant’s signature elements, including the golden arches and Ronald McDonald.

Fans, especially those who were able to make the drive to Sedona, were excited to see the surprise merch drop.

The designs lean into Booker’s “Valley” identity, combining his professional home over the last decade into something wearable. With a pop-up in Sedona, home to one of the only turquoise arches-inspired installations in the world, and another activation in China, the collaboration is aimed at both basketball fans and global streetwear consumers.

Once primarily known as the young star of the Suns, Booker has increasingly been associated with fashion partnerships that connect basketball and mainstream culture. The Book 2 line has centered on storytelling, coordinated with limited releases of shirts and hats that further push that narrative.

Athlete-driven collaborations continue to evolve into multi-platform branding efforts, with Booker involved in the growing push to translate on-court success into global cultural reach.
