Draymond Green Dubbed 'Dirtiest Player in the History' of NBA By Hot-Headed Analyst

Draymond Green has never been one to keep an opinion to himself. He hosts a podcast where he can offer his unfiltered opinion, is a frequent guest on both ESPN and TNT and doesn't mind giving referees a piece of his mind.

On top of that, he plays a very physical brand of basketball and is known as a "dirty player." While fans of the Golden State Warriors might rebuke that, Jusuf Nurkic, Rudy Gobert, LeBron James, and Steven Adams, among others, have all been victims of Green's physicality.

Several months ago, Green suggested that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander doesn't strike fear into his opponents' hearts during a game, and it could be due to his lack oh physicality. Of course, Green's teammate Stephen Curry is also not one to do the dirty work, but his shooting prowess has made him one of the most feared players in NBA history.

Despite Green's quote being stale, Skip Bayless couldn't help but take the bait and slammed the four-time All-Star.

“Nobody’s afraid of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander? That’s what Draymond says. I don’t know why not," said Bayless. "Maybe because he doesn’t talk trash, he doesn’t cheap-shot anybody the way Draymond does — the all-time dirtiest player in the history of the league. Is it because SGA is a really nice guy? Who, by the way, down the stretch of games is looking more and more like a cold-blooded assassin? Are you watching, Draymond?”

Green's "dirty" play is certainly eclipsed by Rasheed Wallace, Bill Laimbeer, Dennis Rodman, and maybe even Larry Bird, but in the modern NBA, Green is the ultimate bully.

He is 20th all-time in technical fouls and second in ejections behind only Rasheed Wallace. Wallace has owned the record with 29, but Green's 22 currently puts him in position to pass 'Sheed before he hands up his sneakers.
