The Golden State Warriors are currently taking on the Los Angeles Clippers at home in a pivotal Western Conference matchup.

Of course, Sunday’s game marks the last game of the regular season for both teams as they continue to fight for a better seed entering the playoffs.

Golden State desperately needs a victory over Los Angeles on Sunday to stay out of the Play-In Tournament while the Clippers have their sights set on passing the Nuggets for the fourth seed.

Golden State currently leads Los Angeles 33-25 at the end of the first quarter with Jimmy Butler leading the way with 10 points while Brandin Podziemski scored nine points of his own.

For the Clippers, James Harden and Kawhi Leonard have led the way with eight and nine points respectively.

Unfortunately for the Warriors, their star forward Draymond Green exited Sunday’s contest with a little less than seven minutes remaining in the first quarter due to an injury.

Green was trying to save an errant pass by Stephen Curry that caused him to collide with Norman Powell of the Clippers, hitting his head against Powell’s hip.

To make matters worse, Green was unable to save the pass and it ended up as a turnover for the Warriors and the veteran forward then headed to the locker room due to an injury.

This is massive news for the Warriors who are trying to remain out of the Play-In with a victory.

The good news for the Warriors is that Green was able to return to the court before the end of the first quarter, but his situation is one to monitor throughout the remainder of the game as Golden State looks to clinch a playoff spot with a victory.
