This week, the 28-year-old was traded to the Brooklyn Nets.

Butler was traded (via the Heat) to the Warriors during the middle of the 2024-25 season.
He had been teammates with Highsmith for part of four years.

Highsmith finished last year with averages of 6.5 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists per contest while shooting 45.8% from the field and 38.2% from the three-point range in 74 games.

As for Green, he is going into his 14th NBA season (all with Golden State).
They have won four titles in that span.
