Duke’s Isaiah Evans Announces Career News on Sunday

Isaiah Evans and the No. 1 seed Duke Blue Devils secured a second-straight ACC Championship win on Saturday, taking down Thijs De Ridder and No. 2 seed Virginia Cavaliers 74-70. Now, Duke, earning the No. 1 overall seed, will turn its attention to the NCAA Tournament, where it will face No. 16 seed Siena Saints in the opening round.

Evans continued to shine in the ACC Championship, recording 20 points on 6-of-14 shooting, two rebounds and an assist. The 6-foot-6 sophomore guard out of North Mecklenburg High School (Huntersville, NC) now enters the big dance averaging 14.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 27.9 minutes per game, all of which are career highs.

Amid his two-year college basketball career in Durham, Evans has built a name for himself, especially during the 2025-26 season when he has had a breakout year. The guard has made numerous NIL partnerships with major brands, including Freddy's, NBA 2K, Facebook and T-Mobile. But Evans wasn't done there.

On Sunday, just a few days before Duke’s opening NCAA Tournament game against Siena, Evans took to social media to share his latest partnership. The Blue Devils star revealed he has teamed up with Buffalo Wild Wings to promote the chain’s latest collaboration with King’s Hawaiian. In the post, Evans is seen decked out in Buffalo Wild Wings gear while ordering the King’s Hawaiian Cheeseburger Slider, along with other popular items.

Evans and Duke will face Sienna in the first round of the 2026 NCAA Tournament on Thursday at 2:50 p.m. ET at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina.
