There has been plenty of speculation surrounding LeBron James' free agency decision over the past week. With that being said, the latest rumor claims that he'll be taking his son, Bronny James, with him to his next team.
ESPN insider Shams Charania recently mentioned the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers as the top suitors for James. Although there have been some rumblings about the Denver Nuggets, Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves making a run at the four-time MVP, they've lost momentum in these sweepstakes.
“When I talk to teams now I have a hierarchy of Cleveland, Miami, Philadelphia, and then some teams on the peripheral,” Charania told ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith.
While a deal has not been agree to yet, ESPN Cleveland host Emmett Golden said "the streets" are telling him that LeBron and Bronny are heading to the Cavaliers.
"Someone who reached out to me in the past and was right reached out to me yesterday, late last night and said, 'Bron and Bronny back to Cleveland,'" Golden said. "The business never really knows where LeBron is moving. The streets do."
According to Kevin O’Connor of Yahoo Sports, the current plan is for James to have a documentary crew film the entire 2026-27 season.
“Multiple league sources say LeBron has had discussions about filming the entire season, with live-streaming potentially folded into the final product,” O’Connor wrote. “So even if LeBron takes a discount on his NBA salary, the money could come back through the documentary.”
If this is going to be James' last season, it makes sense for him to finish things where he started.
Do you think James will return to Cleveland for one last ride?
