With Kevin Durant likely to join the fifth team of his storied NBA career, three franchises have reportedly been revealed as potential landing spots for the Easy Money Sniper.

Durant has made his intentions clear that he'd like out of his situation in Phoenix and the Suns are in desperate need of a reboot.

According to Shams Charania : "The Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets are 15-time All-Star Kevin Durant's preferred trade destinations out of Phoenix, sources tell ESPN. Those across the NBA have been made aware in recent days that those are the three teams that Durant would commit to long-term."

While those are the three teams reportedly on KD's wishlist, the NBA insider added that the Suns "have made clear to six-to-eight seriously interested teams that they will make the best deal for the franchise – even outside of his preferred list of Miami, San Antonio and Houston."

Durant, who turns 37 in September, is on an expiring $54.7 million contract next season after averaging 26.6 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.2 assists on nearly 53% shooting in 2024.

After 17 years in the Association, KD has pretty much accomplished it all and could still be a tremendous piece for an organization looking to get over the top (which is especially the case for the Houston Rockets).

Durant hasn't averaged less than 25 PPG since his rookie year on the now defunct SuperSonics (Adam Silver bring them back, please) and he's never not posted at least 20 in a season.

The two-time NBA champ will undoubtedly go down as one of the greatest scorers the game has ever seen. Now it's just a matter of figuring out where he will likely finish out the twilight of his career.
