
The Detroit Pistons are on the road on Friday night as they travel to take on the Charlotte Hornets in an Eastern Conference showdown.
Detroit enters Friday’s game with a 58-22 record after defeating the Milwaukee Bucks at home in dominant fashion on Wednesday night.
In Wednesday’s victory over the Bucks, Jalen Duren led the way for the Pistons as he recorded 21 points, nine rebounds and three assists while Duncan Robinson added 20 points and three assists of his own.
Now Detroit will try to grab another victory on Friday as they face off against the Hornets in a tough road matchup.
On the other side, Charlotte enters Friday’s contest with a 43-37 record after losing on the road to the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night.
LaMelo Ball led the way for the Hornets in Tuesday’s victory as he ended the game with 36 points, five rebounds and six assists while Brandon Miller recorded 20 points and two assists.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Friday night’s matchup, both squads may be without some of their key players due to injuries.
For the Pistons, they have only one player listed on their injury report as they have listed Kevin Huerter as questionable.

Kevin Huerter (illness) is questionable.
Detroit has listed Huerter as questionable due to an illness and he is in danger of missing his second consecutive contest.
The good news for the Pistons is that Cade Cunningham and Isaiah Stewart are both off the injury report completely after returning from extended absences in Wednesday's victory.
On the other side, the Hornets have two players listed on their injury report, including guard Coby White.
Charlotte has listed White as probable due to left groin soreness and he is expected to return after missing Tuesday's loss to the Celtics.

The Hornets have ruled out PJ Hall as he remains sidelined while recovering from a right ankle fracture.
