Gilbert Arenas thinks NBA bubble is turning players into 'prima donnas'

The NBA bubble has been a smashing success thus far, with the league reporting no new cases as multiple games are being played every day. However, according to former player Gilbert Arenas, players are acting like 'prima donnas' as they struggle with one major aspect of bubble life: no sex.

"You're talking about grown men, 85 percent of them single and you have them locked up at Disney World?" Arenas told TMZ

As silly as it may sound, Arenas is likely right that the lack of... intimacy in the bubble is starting to get to players. After all, some of these guys could be stuck in Orlando for the next several months and while that would be exciting because it means they are playing for a title, it also means that they will stay isolated from the world for the foreseeable future.

According to Arenas, the celibate nature of the NBA bubble is the reason why Lou Williams ended up popping by a strip club when he was temporarily allowed to leave, even though the Clippers guard claims he only went to get wings.

"I would never eat at a strip club. I don't go to the strip club to eat wings," Gilbert said. "I can go to Wing Stop for some wings. I go to the strip club to see strippers."

Williams seemed to acknowledge as much when he told reporters that 'in hindsight', he could have made 'a better-quality decision.' But as more time passes, could more players end up making similar decisions and putting the bubble at risk? Hopefully not or this whole experiment may have been for nothing.
