The NBA season is fast approaching, and the Golden State Warriors are fully in win-now mode, centering their roster around Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler, and Draymond Green.
Curry, 37, is entering his 17th NBA season. The four-time champion has his sights set on a fifth title and believes he can still perform at a level that can lead his team there.
“I truly believe we can be championship-relevant,” Curry said. “We’re probably not going to be the favorite in any conversation, but we have a team capable of achieving that level again. Knowing all that we’ve been through over the last 13 years and those four trophies, to add to that would be amazing. I think it’s realistic to build toward that, and for me, that’s literally the only thing I’m playing for at this point.”
On Sunday, exactly one month before NBA Opening Night—when the Warriors will face LeBron James, Luka Doncic, and the Los Angeles Lakers—Golden State posted a message centered on Stephen Curry, coinciding with the season being 30 days away, matching Curry’s jersey number.
"30 DAYS UNTIL DUBS BASKETBALL," the Warriors wrote on social media.

The Warriors will return to the building this week for media day, followed shortly by training camp near the end of the month, though they currently have just nine players under contract.
Much of the roster uncertainty will likely be resolved once ongoing negotiations with Jonathan Kuminga, which have stretched throughout the offseason, are concluded. Kuminga must decide on his qualifying offer by October 1.
Golden State is also rumored to be a top landing spot for veteran big man Al Horford once matters with Kuminga are settled. As of now, Kuminga appears to be leaning toward a one-year, $8 million deal, giving him significant leverage throughout the season and into next offseason.
