On Friday, the NBA revealed the players who made it to the All-NBA teams. For the third straight season, Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young was snubbed in the All-NBA nod. Young was not announced as part of any of the three All-NBA teams.
The 2024-25 season was full of ups and downs for the Hawks. Despite that, Young was consistent in helping the team reach significant success. The four-time All-Star led the team and team in assists with 11.6 per game. Additionally, he did that without an All-Star teammate.
However, that wasn't enough for the league to name him part of the All-NBA teams.
This season, he was an All-Star and averaged 24.2 points on 41.1% shooting from the field.

1st: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jayson Tatum, Donovan Mitchell
2nd: Jalen Brunson, Stephen Curry, Anthony Edwards, LeBron James, Evan Mobley
3rd: Cade Cunningham, Tyrese Haliburton, James Harden, Karl-Anthony Towns, Jalen Williams
The 26-year-old led the league in total assists with 880 and was seventh in total points with 1,841. However, that wasn't enough for him to be considered part of an All-NBA team.
The last time Young was part of an All-NBA team was in 2022. That year, he averaged close to his scoring career-high of 29.6 and put up 28.4 on 38.2% shooting from the field.
On X, the page StatMuse posted the notable achievements Young had this season and pointed out how he was snubbed. The social media page said that the former University of Oklahoma star "got Traed." The Hawks' star responded with laughing emojis.

Young did his best to lead the Hawks this season. However, the lack of a deep supporting cast has been difficult for the star.
