NBA star Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers was a guest on the Impaulsive podcast and he guessed when he’ll play again following his Achilles tear.
Haliburton tore his right Achilles tendon in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He will miss the entire 2025-26 season.
“Basically, from the injury, I think 15 months until I play my next game,” Haliburton said. “A lot of like journaling. Just like kind of writing stuff down, getting thoughts out. All those things have definitely been good.”
Haliburton tore his right Achilles tendon on June 22. The next time NBA fans will see the All-Star point guard on the basketball court will be in 2026-27.

The 25-year-old Haliburton will make $45.6 million next season while he rehabs his injury. The guard signed a five-year, $244 million extension with the Pacers in July 2023.
