The Oklahoma City Thunder got back on track on Thursday against the Dallas Mavericks to wrap up a four-game homestand. Now, Oklahoma City hits the road to take on the short-handed Memphis Grizzlies.
Earlier this week, Oklahoma City demolished the Beale Street ballers even after Jalen Williams left early with an ankle injury. The Thunder started out on a 13-3 run and that was all she wrote eventually swelling an over 30 point lead.
The Memphis Grizzlies (23-44) have seen their season wrecked with injuries resulting in them sinking to the bottom of the Western Conference standings. While Oklahoma City (46-20) have enjoyed some of the best injury luck in the NBA to this point.
Though, the Grizzlies are poised to get one of their best players back on the hardwood tonight against the Bricktown boys.
This projects to mark Desmond Bane's first game back on the hardwood since Jan. 12. His 3-point shooting can really flip a game or at least make it tighter, a spark Memphis did not have on Sunday.
The Oklahoma City Thunder are 10.5 point favorites with the over/under set at 218.5 according to FanDuel.
Road blowouts are hard to come by, and Desmond Bane should allow the Grizzlies to keep this more competitive than their Sunday showing, but Oklahoma City is one of the best teams in the NBA.
