Jimmy Butler Trolls Suns With Hilarious IG Message Before Showdown With Stephen Curry and Warriors

The energy in the league is intense as teams battle for playoff glory in the Play-In tournament. After a nail-biting 126-121 win over the Los Angeles Clippers, the Warriors are gearing up to take on the Phoenix Suns in a highly anticipated matchup. But even amidst the pressure of this do-or-die game, Jimmy Butler is keeping spirits high.

A hilarious video has surfaced on social media showing Butler arriving at the airport ahead of the game at PHX Arena. Though he’s sidelined due to an ACL tear and won’t be on the court, the 36-year-old forward still found a way to deliver a message to the Suns.

Butler said, “Phoenix, I’ve arrived. Yeah, come to get this dub. Well not me. Steph and company.”

Classic Butler, bringing the laughs even while recovering.

What the Season-Ending Injury Taught Jimmy Butler?

Butler suffered a season-ending ACL tear during the game against his former team, the Miami Heat, on January 19, 2026. Over the course of 38 games, he averaged 20.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game. Since the injury, the superstar has been sidelined, cheering for his team from the bench. In a recent interview, Butler shared his thoughts on how the season-ending injury has affected him.

“It hasn’t taken anything from me. If anything, it’s given me everything. Everything. I’m a basketball player, but I’ve always told myself that basketball isn’t the most important thing. What matters more is how to live in the present, how to help others, and how to show my true self. An injury can’t take any of that away,” Butler said.

When Butler suffered his injury, a wave of concern swept over Warriors fans regarding the team’s championship hopes this season. Their anxiety grew when star player Stephen Curry faced a knee issue and was out for two months. Despite these challenges, the Warriors remained competitive and continued to push hard to secure a playoff spot.
