The New York Knicks are heading to the NBA Finals for the first time in 27 years. But even after one of the biggest wins in franchise history, Josh Hart still found time to troll one of his teammates.
Shortly after New York completed its Eastern Conference Finals sweep over the Cleveland Cavaliers, Hart posted a hilarious Instagram story from the team plane while taking a funny jab at Jose Alvarado.
On his Instagram story, the Knicks guard shared Alvarado’s image while he was sitting with the Bob Cousy trophy on a table.
“Changed this broke boys life” he captioned the post alongside laughing emojis.

The energetic guard was traded from the New Orleans Pelicans to New York at the deadline earlier this season. While his playoff role has been smaller compared to the regular season, the Georgia Tech alum has remained an important energy piece off the bench and a popular figure among teammates.
Despite all the pressure surrounding the franchise’s deepest playoff run since 1999, New York has consistently looked loose, confident, and completely connected as a group. Hart has become one of the emotional leaders of that identity, bringing nonstop energy both on and off the floor.
The Knicks feel like a stick-together, fulfilling team, mostly because they have Josh Hart. The star guard always keeps an easy mood around his teammates, which often goes viral.
However, moments after New York completed its dominant four-game sweep of the Cavaliers with a blowout victory in Game 4, the Knicks gathered on the court to celebrate winning the Eastern Conference Finals.

As Jalen Brunson walked over for a live television interview following the trophy presentation, Hart was already standing nearby with a grin on his face, clearly preparing to jump into the frame before the interview even started.
Getting flashbacks from last year, Brunson spotted him immediately. And even before the reporter could ask a single question, the Eastern Conference Finals MVP pointed directly at his funnybone teammate and jokingly told his longtime Villanova teammate to get out of the shot.
Hart instantly burst into laughter, raised both hands in mock surrender, and slowly walked away while smiling at the cameras.
While Brunson continues to lead New York offensively, Hart has become one of the emotional engines behind the team’s success. The veteran forward once again filled the stat sheet in the closeout win, finishing with six points, 11 rebounds, and six assists while doing much of the dirty work throughout the night.
