Game 4 of the NBA Finals went to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday night. After the Indiana Pacers took a 2-1 lead, OKC responded with a tough victory to even the series heading back home.
There was a lot of discussion about the perceived lack of superstardom in this series, and how that would impact viewership, but these games have been among the most competitive of any this postseason.
These Finals have been carried by ESPN/ABC, which has given analyst Stephen A. Smith additional coverage opportunities. During Game 4, Smith was seen by a fan seemingly playing a game on his phone.
Yep! That’s me. Who would’ve thought….I can multi-task. Especially during TIMEOUTS! Hope y’all are enjoying the NBA Finals.

"Yep! That’s me," he admitted. "Who would’ve thought….I can multi-task. Especially during TIMEOUTS! Hope y’all are enjoying the NBA Finals. This is going 7 games now, peeps!"
While Smith downplayed this, claiming he was simply multitasking during a timeout, he received a message on Instagram from Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant who seemingly took exception to the ESPN analyst playing on his phone during the game.
"Cmon Steve," Durant wrote on his Instagram story.

Durant has been very active on social media this offseason. As his name circulates trade rumors, the 15-time All-Star continues engaging with fans.
Prior to joining the Phoenix Suns, Durant spent three seasons with the Brooklyn Nets. He played alongside Kyrie Irving and James Harden for a brief period, but injuries and other factors limited the potential of this trio, leading to Durant eventually being dealt to Phoenix.
Now expected to be traded again, Durant could be joining his fifth NBA team soon.
