Kevin Love reacts to the Kawhi Leonard accusation with Instagram post

Kevin Love has chimed in on the Kawhi Leonard situation, and he did so by coming off the top rope.

In a recent Instagram reel, Love poked a little fun at the entire situation using a scene from Ocean’s Thirteen featuring Al Pacino and Don Cheadle.

“Kawhi pulling up on Clippers minority owners the minute his No-Show payment was running late,” Love wrote in the caption.

Funniest NBA player ever?

Leonard, of course, has been accused of accepting under-the-table payments from Los Angeles Clippers minority owner Dennis Wong through a now-bankrupt company, Aspiration, in an attempt to skirt the NBA’s salary cap limitations.

The dying company received a near-$2 million payment in December 2022 from another company that listed Wong as the registered agent. Almost immediately after that cash infusion, $1.75 million was sent to KL2Aspire LLC, Leonard’s company.

The entire alleged scheme was done under the guise of a “no-show” endorsement deal with Aspiration, a tree-planting business.

Clippers majority owner Steve Ballmer claims he was conned by Aspiration and had nothing to do with trying to circumvent the NBA’s salary cap.

“These were guys who committed fraud. Look, they conned me. They conned me,” Ballmer told ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne. “I made an investment in these guys thinking it was on the up-and-up, and they conned me at this stage. I have no ability to predict why they might have done anything they did, let alone the specific contract with Kawhi.”

It’s quite the tangled web being woven, but we’re all here for Love’s hilarious takes on it.
